Terms of Use

Last updated: March 29, 2026

1. Informational Purpose & No Professional Advice

The content on this website is provided for informational purposes only. Project Aftab does not provide legal, financial, tax, or investment advice. Users are responsible for ensuring their participation complies with applicable local laws and tax regulations.

2. Charitable Contributions & Variance Power

Contributions made through Project Aftab are intended for humanitarian purposes. To maintain legal 501(c)(3) compliance, the affiliated sponsoring entity retains ultimate “Variance Power” over all charitable funds. This means the organization has the unilateral right to redirect funds to other charitable causes if the original intended distribution becomes unfeasible, illegal, or violates sanctions protocols.

3. The Digital Voucher is Not a Security or Investment

The digital humanitarian voucher is a proprietary instrument functioning mechanically as a stable value mechanism. It is backed strictly 1:1 by auditable reserves held in regulated, institutional-grade accounts. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to sell, a solicitation of an offer to buy, or a recommendation of any security, investment, or financial product.

4. Sanctions, OFAC Compliance, & Screening

Project Aftab functions as infrastructure operating under authorized frameworks, including OFAC's licenses for humanitarian projects. All transfers are subject to a compliance-first architecture utilizing continuous, dual-layer sanctions screening, including direct checks against the global OFAC SDN list. The right is reserved to block, reject, or freeze any transaction or user account that fails automated or administrative compliance gates.

5. Local Delivery & Operational Risks

Converting digital vouchers to local fiat requires a vetted network of local agents. While these network partners undergo formalized risk management vetting, the absolute availability of local fiat at all times cannot be guaranteed. Delivery is only finalized, and funds are only settled, upon the execution of a multi-factor cryptographic non-repudiation protocol (“digital handshake”) between the local agent and the beneficiary.

6. Pilot Program Limitations

The Project Aftab pilot is a controlled rollout. To comply with regulatory frameworks, the pilot is subject to an aggregate volume cap (currently a $400,000 limit). Automated controls will suspend voucher minting if these thresholds are approached. The pilot may be modified, suspended, or terminated at any time without notice.

7. Intellectual Property

All content, design, graphics, text, and technical infrastructure descriptions on this website are the intellectual property of Project Aftab or its licensors. Reproduction, distribution, or creation of derivative works from this content without express written permission is prohibited.

8. “As Is” Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

The website and its related services are provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis without warranties of any kind. Liability for any errors, omissions, technical inaccuracies, or website downtime is disclaimed by Project Aftab and its affiliated entities. Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Project Aftab from any claims resulting from frozen funds, delayed deliveries, or regulatory actions outside of direct control.
